What Does a Nurse Do?

At the MAMUK Centre, the Nurse provides front-line healthcare using a respectful and human-centred approach. They support clients, take part in prevention and health education, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. This role is essential to improving the well-being of the urban Indigenous population, while ensuring services are culturally safe, accessible, and respectful.
